I love eating a good tasty meal, who doesn’t? But what I also love, is making that meal look good! I’ll show in this post some examples of food photography, with the project a day in meals which will show a nice appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. For these food images, I used continuous light and I photographed them with my Sony A7III.
The first photograph shows a nice tomato soup decorated with some bread and some real tomatoes. For the second photograph, I decided to take a lower angle to make the meal the hero. And for the third one, I wanted to emphasize in the textures of the caramelized apples to make it looks tasty.
Food photography can be really fun and it’s something that can be done in the comfort of your house. Here you can see a lot of tips from Two Lovers Studio about food photography.
